Designed for learners from diverse backgrounds—technical and non-technical alike—the program supports both aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs, including college students and young professionals or executives looking for a career transition into entrepreneurship.

Built by Stanford and MIT alumni, this immersive, hands-on training program equips participants with essential business and technical skills to build successful AI-driven startups. Our structured, progressive curriculum spans two levels, each focusing on real-world applications of ethical AI product development. The program is led by a teaching team of business and tech experts. Program Overview: A Real-World Path to AI Startup Success

The AI for Good Institute offers an intensive curriculum that combines Business Innovation, Technical Product Development, and Impact Strategy to support founders as they build startups equipped for today’s market demands.

 

Program Levels


Two program levels allow participants to tailor their experience to specific goals and backgrounds:

  • Level 1: Foundations

 

Provides essential knowledge in AI startup development, focusing on market analysis, product validation, and responsible AI practices. Available in both online and in-person formats.

  • Online: January 25 – February 28, 2025

  • In-Person at Stanford: June 20 – June 25, 2025

  • In-Person in Dubai: November 26-30, 2025

  • Level 2: MVP Development & Advanced Business Strategy

​

Focuses on the steps of developing an MVP, guiding product builders, engaging investors, and crafting advanced go-to-market strategies. This level is ideal for founders ready to develop a minimum viable product (pre-MVP).​

  • In-Person at Stanford: June 25 – July 1, 2025

 

Participants complete level 2 with a robust skill set for building an AI-driven product/ startup.

    • Team Management: Learn how to guide technical teams effectively, whether managing internal engineers or outsourcing.

  3. Impact Strategy & Responsible AI

    • Human-Centered AI: Integrate human-centered design into AI products, ensuring inclusivity and ethical transparency.

    • Ethical AI & Policy Awareness: Gain an understanding of the regulatory landscape, ensuring your startup’s AI products are adaptable to future AI policy.

    • Impact Strategy: Develop an impact framework to ensure your product is designed for long-term resilience and responsible deployment.

The program is taught by Stanford and MIT alumni, as well as startup experts, tech professionals, and AI scientists.

How to Join

 

Step 1: Apply

The first step in enrolling for the Institute is to complete an online application. Our program is selective and immersive. Our admissions process prioritizes applicants who demonstrate motivation, commitment, desire for collaboration, and passion for AI for Good. Upon review by our admissions team, a response is provided within 2-3 weeks.

 

Step 2- Enroll

In the case of admission, applicants are provided with a registration link to complete their enrollment and payment. Earlier applicants are offered discounted rates. Spots are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis until capacity or final deadline is reached.​
