My name is Denise, also known as Tech Diva, a visionary technology leader, solopreneur, and technical project manager with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, technology, and education. I am the founder of Tech Diva Consulting, LLC, where I empower organizations with agile methodologies, scalable product designs, and cutting-edge technology solutions. My work specializes in delivering tailored Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), conducting Product Design Sprints, and integrating generative AI tools to enhance product management, market research, and user experience.
In my current role at Cleveland Clinic, I have been instrumental in designing and implementing advanced analytics, data models, and automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and generative AI, all aimed at improving supply chain operations. My previous roles include serving as a Data Scientist and Service Delivery Manager at IBM Watson Health, where I led cross-functional teams and advanced data science initiatives. I also bring a unique perspective from my time as an Assistant Principal in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District, blending education with technology.
I was motivated to join the AI for Good Institute because I believe in the transformative power of AI to promote equality, equity, and inclusion. The Institute’s focus on using technology for social good aligned perfectly with my passion for creating scalable solutions that address societal challenges. The opportunity to work with experts in the generative AI space, while learning strategies to drive ethical and impactful AI applications, was invaluable. I saw this program as a unique chance to bridge my technical expertise with a larger purpose—harnessing AI to foster inclusion, lead innovation, and create lasting positive change.
One of the most impactful experiences at the AI for Good Institute was collaborating with a diverse, interdisciplinary team to develop NeuroSight AI, a tool designed to support neurodiversity. This hands-on project allowed me to directly apply AI to create inclusive solutions, which perfectly aligned with my vision of using technology to address societal challenges. The advanced coursework in AI and machine learning, combined with discussions on ethical AI practices, solidified my commitment to balancing innovation with equity, privacy, and civil liberties. Being on Stanford’s campus, surrounded by brilliant minds committed to making a difference, was incredibly inspiring and reinforced my professional goal of becoming a leader in the generative AI space.
NeuroSight AI is a mobile application designed to assist individuals in identifying, managing, and understanding neurodiverse conditions such as ADHD, autism, and other mental health challenges. It uses a combination of gamified quizzes, mood tracking, and a generative AI chatbot to deliver personalized insights and support. The app aims to empower users by enhancing self-awareness, providing educational resources, and offering community support.
The app directly contributes to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on improving mental health (SDG 3), reducing inequality (SDG 10), and increasing access to quality education (SDG 4). With plans for growth and expanded partnerships, NeuroSight AI is poised to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with neurodiverse conditions, providing tools to help them thrive socially, personally, and professionally.
After completing the AI for Good Institute, I was offered a contract position at Cleveland Clinic’s Supply Chain Analytics department, where I’ve been involved in AI initiatives, including RPA and generative AI using technologies like Python, Power Automate, and Microsoft Azure. My contract has been extended, and I’ve been offered a full-time role, which allows me to deepen my hands-on experience in using AI to improve processes and drive efficiency.
Looking ahead, my goal is to transition into a full-time role as an AI Engineer or AI Product Manager. I am passionate about using AI to revolutionize healthcare, particularly in diagnostics, personalized medicine, and patient care. I envision AI optimizing treatment plans and enhancing medical decision-making to improve patient outcomes. Additionally, I’m restructuring my business to better support AI startups in developing their MVPs, helping bring innovative solutions to market more efficiently.
The AI for Good Institute has played a pivotal role in shaping my career and reinforcing my commitment to using AI for social good. I am excited to continue contributing to the intersection of AI, healthcare, and social impact, and I’m determined to lead the way in creating equitable and responsible AI innovations.
