My name is Sarahyah, and I am a founder, executive, educator, and mother of 15. I am the Founder and CEO of My Baby My Way AI, an innovative app leveraging AI technology to revolutionize maternal and mental health care, particularly for BIPOC communities. With over a decade of experience as an award-winning grant writer and executive in healthcare, education, and nonprofit management, my journey began with a passion for empowering women to reclaim their strength and voice during childbirth. This led to the creation of My Baby My Way Method and other groundbreaking programs that aim to transform women’s health.
I joined the AI for Good Institute at Stanford University to gain deeper insights into building and marketing an AI-powered app—specifically to enhance My Baby My Way AI. I was driven to understand how AI could address critical gaps in maternal and mental healthcare, while learning strategies to scale the app effectively. The program provided the perfect opportunity to align my vision with cutting-edge knowledge and build lasting partnerships with innovators and investors passionate about AI-driven social good.
The experience at the Institute was transformative. Immersing myself in the innovative environment of Stanford was energizing. A key highlight was connecting with a cohort of like-minded individuals who share a passion for using AI to drive positive change. This reinforced my belief that AI for Good will shape the future, and being part of this movement places us at the forefront of meaningful innovation.
During my time at the Institute, I worked on refining My Baby My Way AI, an AI-powered app designed to bridge critical gaps in maternal and mental health care. The app provides personalized, culturally sensitive support for women, particularly BIPOC and underserved communities, from preconception to postpartum and beyond. It incorporates AI-driven health insights, mental wellness tracking, telehealth services, and a supportive community platform. At the Institute, I received valuable feedback from mentors and peers, which helped me enhance the app’s features and develop a strategy to bring it to market effectively.
After graduating from the AI for Good Institute, my journey has been nothing short of exciting. I had the privilege of speaking at the GenAI Summit in Silicon Valley, where I presented My Baby My Way AI to innovators and investors passionate about AI for social good. I also developed a prototype of the app, showcasing its potential to revolutionize maternal and mental health care.
Since then, I’ve secured key partnerships with insurance companies, ensuring the app’s accessibility and scalability for underserved communities. To date, I’ve raised significant funding, supporting business development and outreach efforts. Through these efforts, we’ve created 12 jobs in California, Michigan, and Texas. This is just the beginning, as we continue to grow and attract more support for this transformative project.
Currently, I am focused on expanding my team and developing the full version of My Baby My Way AI. Our mission is to make meaningful connections with more insurance companies and extend our reach to serve more women and families. I envision My Baby My Way AI becoming a household name, revolutionizing how maternal and mental health care is delivered, and empowering women worldwide with culturally sensitive, accessible, and personalized healthcare solutions.
Ultimately, my goal is to leave a legacy as a trailblazer in using AI for social good. The future is about empowerment, accessibility, and sustainable impact—and I am determined to lead the way.
